“Brixol” was grounded as a business enterprise in the year 1925 with very modest ambitions. The company was oriented to produce consumer goods (cleaning, disinfection, washing, purifier, deodorants, etc), on the chemical basis. There is a first written document as one scent about the patent registration for producing the “Brixol Brick”. This article was used as deodorant and purifier in a lot of public and private objects, (government buildings, railways, cinemas, offices, etc.)

Trade mark for “Brixol” was the snake caring the cross in the circle on the back, what is the synonym for the basic production from the beginning, what should represent preventive protection in the human environment...

It is very interesting to mention that there were, in the time between the wars, three companies under the same name “Brixol”, ours in Vr šac, next in Budapest , and the third one in Wienna. Unfortunetly we dont have any information about them, except that „Brixol“ based in Budapest was working some time afther the Wold War II, but we don't know what was the production program and until when they where active.

The name “Brixol” has two versions of establishing. One version is that the company becomes the name by the Alexander Brix- patent holder, and the other version is that the name of the company, followed from the first product – Brixol Brick.

In the period, of establishing the factory until the out brake of World War II, “Brixol” have had very successfully production.

Together with several other companies from Vr šac, „Brixol“ was dislocated, because of the closeness of the state border. “Brixol” was dislocated to Sarajevo and becomes part of the company “Bosnalijek”. After the war ending, remained factory unit in Vr šac, which left after she was schot in fire, in the Podvšanska Street , continuous with the production of the cleaning and purifying stock as the joint factory with the ‘Bosnalijek'.

It was made a significant progress and the quality of the goods rises on the old factory name “Brixol”.

The agreement with “Bosnalijek”, about the returning of unites from Sarajevo to Vr šac was declared in the year 1956, so „Brixol“returnes to the quarter in Vr šac.

In the period of 1960-1961 the joint production of the two units was not harmonized. However then came to the difficulties because of the heterogenic producing program, what was the brake in the joint development, so they decided to separate completely in two independent factories “Brixol” and “Hemofarm”. After it (1961-1965) “Brixol” has made changes in the Management structure and they supplied the production line with the new machines which have to increase quality and quantity of the production.

During 1968 – 1969 the new factory was build on the new location, (mostly from the self financed resources), with the modern working and producing conditions. This factory unit was in fact adapted factory of the medical herbs, built 1964 – 1965, but the function of the infrastructure was not suited for this type of production, so the “Brixol” take a used of the egsisting infrastructure to establish new production line.

At the end of 1971, on the hold referendum of employees of “Brixol”, was decided about the integration with “Interexport” from Belgrade, and the established company started to work from 01.01.1971 on the name “Inex-Brixol Vršac“.

In the 1973 on the egsisting location, were made extensions on the producing and storage objects for becoming more capacity and better working conditions.

On the 03.07.1978 “Brixol” enroled the new production line for the softening staff, for PVC dioktilftalat and other more ftal derivates of softeners, capacitu 20.000 t / year.

The production line was concipated as a part of the development program for manufacturing of the plastick mass for the region of Vojvodina. In that time, and now the contemporary technology in the softener production made possible to supply the Jugoslav market wit the quality softeners and to export on the west-european market. On the domestic market the largest consumer were companies: „Sintelon“,“Grmec ”, “Novkabel”, “Kotroman”, “Zorka”, etc.

1989 was established the unit “Hemodom” which has production line for the human cosmetics, auto – cosmetics, cleaning and disinfection, and as well know “Hepo - bricks” which are used for easier inflaming off wood and coal.

On the same year “Brixol” took over the factory for producing and repairing of the easy aero planes and aero gliders “Jastreb”, so they extended the production program with production of parachutes, aero planes, metal and wooden products, plastic manufacturing for automotive industry, etc.

In the last decade “Brixol” is mostly oriented to extend the production program in all ranges. “Brixol” also has a capacity to produce softeners for other companies, and attends to develop production of bio-diesel.
